Local marketing for doctors, clinics and hospitals

Healthcare digital marketing agency in India

In short: MapMyClinic is a digital marketing agency that works only in healthcare: with doctors, clinics, hospitals, dentists, physiotherapists and AYUSH practitioners. We are based in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, and work with practices across India. Our job is to make sure patients find you on Google Maps and Google search, trust you when they read about you, and then call or message you on WhatsApp. Our prices are written on this page, because we think a doctor should know the cost before the first call, not after the third one.

Prices

What it costs, written down.

Most healthcare agencies in India don't show their prices. You fill a form, sit through a call, and only then get a quote, which is often different for every doctor. We do it the other way round. These are our prices for India, and they are the same whether your practice is in a metro or a district town.

Before you hire anyone

How to check a healthcare marketing agency before you hire it.

We meet many doctors who have already tried one or two agencies and are unhappy with them. When we open their accounts, we usually find the same few problems. Whether you work with us or with someone else, check these things before you sign.

It promises page one or the top three

Nobody controls Google. On Maps, your rank also depends on where the patient is standing when they search, so it is different from one street to the next. An agency that guarantees a rank either doesn't understand this, or is planning shortcuts that get profiles suspended later.

It offers to "get" you reviews

Reviews written by staff or relatives, reviews in return for a discount, and asking only the happy patients are all against Google's review policy. Google removes such reviews, and sometimes genuine ones go with them. Ask how they will bring reviews. The answer should be a routine at your reception, not a number.

Your accounts are in its name

The domain, Google profile, ad account and Facebook page should all be owned by the doctor or the hospital. We have seen doctors who could not even change their timings on Google, because the profile belonged to a freelancer who had stopped picking up the phone.

Everything for a very low monthly fee

Website, Google profile, social media and ads, all in one small package. It sounds like a good deal, but at that price nobody can actually do all of it. Usually the posts go out and nothing else happens.

It reports posts and likes, not patients

Four blogs a month and a thousand likes don't tell you whether a single patient came. Ask what the monthly report will show. It should be calls, WhatsApp chats, direction requests and form enquiries, compared with the month before.

Its ads call you "the best"

Indian medical ethics rules don't allow doctors to call themselves the best or promise a cure. Such an ad can bring a complaint to the medical council, and Meta often rejects it anyway. A healthcare agency should know this without you telling them.

Healthcare rules in India

The rules your marketing has to follow.

A clinic cannot advertise like a restaurant or a shop. In India, a doctor's marketing has to follow the medical ethics codes, a few old laws, and the policies of Google and Meta. Most general agencies don't know these, and when something goes wrong, it is the doctor who faces it. This is a short summary to help you ask the right questions, not legal advice.

RuleWhat it means for your marketing
Indian Medical Council code of ethics, 2002Still the code in force for modern medicine doctors, as the NMC put its 2023 rules on hold. Doctors can't solicit patients or publicise their own skill. Factual details like qualifications, timings, fees and health education are fine. Hospitals run by doctors can advertise their facilities and fees.
NMC guidelines on ethical advertising, 6 October 2026They apply the 2002 code to social media, search, AI and healthcare platforms. Social media and websites are not banned, but every post needs the doctor's name, qualification and registration number. No testimonials or reviews for promotion, no fake or paid reviews, no discount offers, no "best" or "No. 1" claims, no AI promotional campaigns, and no paying anyone per patient. Hospitals can share only factual, verifiable information.
Dental, AYUSH and homoeopathy codesDentists, Ayurveda and homoeopathy doctors have their own councils and codes, with limits similar to the medical code.
Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954No ad can claim to cure the diseases listed in the Act, such as diabetes or obesity. This applies to every practice, not only to medicine sellers.
Google's healthcare ads policySome medicines and treatments are restricted in ads, and ads can't be targeted at people based on a health condition.
Meta's rule on personal attributesA Facebook or Instagram ad can't suggest the viewer has a condition. "Do you have back pain?" gets rejected; "Back pain assessment at our clinic" does not.
Google's review policyNo rewards for reviews, no review targets for staff, and no asking only happy patients.
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023Website forms and WhatsApp enquiries collect patient details, so the site needs consent on forms and a proper privacy policy.
IT Rules on AI content (from 20 February 2026)AI-generated videos must be declared as AI when they are uploaded to large platforms. For doctors, the NMC guidelines also require an AI mark on the content itself.

Honest timelines

What to expect, and when.

Many agencies promise a fixed number, like 30 to 40% growth in six months, or three times your money back in three months. But every practice starts from a different place. A new clinic with an empty Google profile and a busy hospital with ten departments will never move at the same speed. So instead of one number, this is what we usually see.

Your situationWhat usually happens
New or small clinic, weak Google profileFixing the profile brings more calls and direction requests within the first month. A clinic seeing two to four patients a day can reach six to eight fairly quickly.
Established clinic, steady patientsGrowth is slower, because you are already visible to many people. A clear difference usually takes around six months.
Website SEO for treatment searchesTechnical fixes show in a few weeks. Rankings for competitive treatments take three to six months, and longer in big cities.
Google and Meta adsCalls can start within days. The first two to four weeks go into learning which ads bring real patients, and the cost per enquiry usually comes down after that.
HospitalWe plan department by department, starting with the ones that need patients most, so results also come department-wise.
Who we work with

A single doctor, a clinic and a hospital need different plans.

A doctor who consults at two places needs Google profiles that bring patients to both, not ones that compete with each other. A clinic mostly needs to win the Maps searches in its own area. A hospital needs a page and a Google presence for every department and senior consultant, so that a patient searching for a knee surgeon finds your orthopaedic department, and not just the hospital's name.

You can read how we plan for individual doctors, single-location clinics, practices with more than one location and hospitals.

The specialty changes the plan too. A dentist or skin clinic gets most new patients from Google Maps and Instagram. An IVF centre or an orthopaedic surgeon gets them from treatment searches and Google Ads. A gynaecologist or child specialist is chosen on trust, so reviews and the doctor's own profile matter most. See our pages for dentists, dermatologists, homeopathy doctors, Ayurveda clinics and physiotherapists.

Questions

What doctors ask before hiring a healthcare marketing agency.

Ask on WhatsApp
What does a healthcare digital marketing agency do?

It makes sure patients find your practice online, trust what they see, and contact you. For most clinics in India that means managing the Google Business Profile, building a proper website, bringing in genuine reviews, running Google and Meta ads for the right treatments, and keeping social media active. All of it has to follow medical advertising rules, which is the main difference from a general agency.

Why should I choose a healthcare-only agency?

Because the rules and the patients are different. A general agency may write "best doctor in the city" in your ad, buy reviews or show before-and-after photos, which can bring trouble from the medical council or get your accounts restricted. A healthcare-only agency also knows how patients search for each specialty, which saves months of trial and error.

Do you work with practices in my city?

Yes. We work with doctors, clinics and hospitals across India. The planning happens in a meeting, and the work itself happens on Google, on your website and on your social media, so your city doesn't change how we work or what you pay.

How much does healthcare digital marketing cost in India?

With us, Google Business Profile management is ₹6,999 per month per location, websites start at ₹14,999, Google and Meta ads management is 20% of the ad spend, and social media is ₹8,000 per month per profile. Prices exclude GST. SEO and wider reputation management are quoted after the free audit.

Can you guarantee more patients?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. We can guarantee the work and show you every month what it brought: calls, WhatsApp chats, direction requests and enquiries. The timeline table above shows what we usually see.

Do you work with hospitals?

Yes. For hospitals we plan department by department: a page and Google presence for each department and senior consultant, ads only where you need more patients, and reviews handled for both the hospital and its doctors. Hospital work is quoted after the free audit.

Who owns the accounts and the website?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, and the Google profile, ad accounts and social media pages stay yours. We get manager access only. If you stop working with us, everything stays with you. Monthly services run with 30 days' notice and no long contract.

Can you make content in Hindi?

Yes. Website pages are usually in English, but social media posts, reels and AI video scripts can be in Hindi, English or Hinglish, depending on how your patients talk.
